District's iPod program attracts good reviews from the state and Apple Computers |

The Louisa-Muscatine School District is initiating what could be a technological breakthrough in standardized testing. Next school year, the L-M elementary school could be the first in Iowa to use Apple iPods for special-education students when they take the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills. The school used the iPods on a pilot basis last month to test how they would work. Although the pilot appears successful at this point, there are still some kinks to iron out, such as security and the timely process of transferring the files to the media player. Article link
