IADT.jpgThe International Academy of Design & Technology (IADT), well known as a degree-granting institution that specializes in providing quality design education, today announced the launch of MobiClass – a simple-to-use way to bring elements of its online education program to the common cell phone. MobiClass, a new extension of IADT’s successful virtual campus – IADT Online, brings the classroom directly to mobile phones and personalizes the education experience to an even greater degree. MobiClass works with most of today’s cell phones, and is at its most exciting when used with Apple’s stunning new iPhone.

MobiClass includes two important capabilities – a live access technology that allows students to easily access school-related information such as class assignments, campus email, and grades, and video technology that makes it easy to download and view video courseware and podcasts. Combined, the two new features add up to a college-on-the-run. MobiClass-equipped students will be able to conveniently access IADT Online’s virtual campus while away from the computer.

Note: Be sure to check out the cool iPhone demo at http://online.academy.edu/iadtmobile/. (Thanks to Sam Adkins.)
