Filipino startup offers courses via pre-paid card

MANILA, Philippines -- Filipino nursing or engineering graduates can now avail of a low-cost e-learning service that provides online licensure board review modules for as low as P100 ($2.28), executives of a Filipino service provider have said.

The service, developed by Filipino startup One Logic Systech Inc., follows the current model of selling airtime to pre-paid subscribers of mobile phone services in the country, said Jayson Dela Rosa, president of One Logic Systech.

The Reviewcard service also provides a simulated exam portal for users, he said.

The company is currently offering online modules for at least 12 courses, Dela Rosa said in a phone interview.
