Cutting-edge learning tool or distracting gadgetry?
That's what Abilene Christian University administrators will decide in a study that could put the new state-of-the-art Apple product in the hands of many ACU students if university researchers deem the device educationally sound and the university finds necessary funds for such an investment.
A heap of research was delegated to about 50 people -- mostly faculty and staff -- during the fall semester to explore the practicality of the iPhone at the university, and as this study carries on, more and more campus bodies are joining the research.
