Although class sizes in the UK show little sign of getting any smaller, new mobile and web-based technologies could soon enable students throughout the country to benefit from their own form of personal tuition.

Personalised learning isn’t exactly something new. After all, each of us learns best in a different way from one another, so it makes sense that, ideally, the way we learn should be tailored to our own aptitudes.

In the hectic environment of the modern classroom, teachers are often unable to dedicate as much time as they would like to each student. What’s more, students usually have to conform to a set system of learning, meaning that, if it doesn’t suit them, there’s not a whole lot they can do about it.
