It's back to school time for the iPhone. When new students walk onto Abilene Christian University's campus in three days, they will be given T-shirts, orientation packets and either an iPhone or an iPod touch. They're not the only ones. A number of U.S. schools plant to distribute the sleek Apple devices to incoming students this fall. Some, like Oklahoma Christian University and Tennessee's Freed-Hardeman University, are pairing the devices with MacBooks as a student technology package. Others, such as Texas-based Abilene Christian and the University of Maryland, are promoting the devices as a mobile learning initiative. Article link
